MEET THE ICONS OF SPORTS, POP CULTURE AND THE HOBBY
Card Con III delivered an epic line-up. Former World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, TCG influencer PokiChloe, Premier League legend Claude Makélélé, and Darts World Champion Luke Humphries, all under the same roof.
Card Con IV is going to be legendary. You won’t want to miss this line-up. Announcements are coming soon, follow us on Instagram for the inside scoop.
We loved it. It was our first card show and now we want to go to one every week.
Had the best time and met some incredible people.
Will be back next year for sure.
It was my first ever cards show and the atmosphere and vendors was all nice and respectful was very helpful when coming to trade or sell my cards was very good will definitely be coming to more in the future 😊❤️
Great con, though it did feel like some more empty space could have benefitted, just to spread out some more.
More seating areas, and clearer signage for food, toilets etc would be beneficial, but otherwise I had a fantastic time and spent far too much money for my first big convention.
The vendors were all varied, and I found plenty to purchase.
See you at CCV!
Really fun, super well organised and spaced out so nothing was cramped or too crowded around vendors. Well ventilated area so wasn’t hot or stuffy once everyone was inside! Such a great day out and some incredible cards and merch available
There could have been more sports cards, felt like a lot of TCG with sports mixed in. Or if you could try to section the varieties of cards like LCS this makes the experience better in my opinion. Felt like I was getting in the way of TVG fans when trying to see what the vender had.
Don't get me wrong it was a Great event but VIP ticket was not worth it and and I never got any vouchers very lack luster and not a football fan. Would come again but definitely not vip
The show had a good number of vendors and lots of places performing demos and competitions which was great. The atmosphere was good.
My only suggestion is that the free bus service to/from the station was not well signposted either at the station or the venue and this could be made clear in the future
The event as a whole was pretty good but it was cramped and that's putting it nicely.
They could have done with another room to make the walk ways wider.
As someone with an autistic partner she was very overwhelmed by all the pushing and shoving just to see a table.
It should never be that way, I did get to meet a few streamer and YouTubers I follow and pick up some cool cards but yeah needs to be more space!
I have not been to an event before but felt it was poorly run.
We were not let onto the ship floor at 0900 firstly. We were given the wrong wrist bags when our tickets were checked causing confusion when getting the free items which came in drips and drabs. Communication prior to the event was very late coming through via email. I think I received it at 11pm the night before. That's to late to read and know for the event especially when you are up early the next day.
When queuing to get in the staff were only asking for VIP ticket holders, this is where we showed our tickets and was given an all weekend wrist band not VIP. No other tickets were checked around us or anywhere in the queue. The doors opened past 0908 with a free for all of everyone coming in. Anyone could have been in that queue that hadn't paid for early bird or VIP. What a waste of money!
Just queue time
It didn’t feel like we had an hour before main entry.
Opened late, vendors not ready - so eats into the time. This should be 90mins early entry to be honest as your show is so big.
Plus more sports are needed - too much of the same Pokemon etc
But overall a great show, I loved it bar a couple of niggles
Not received ticket yet. Was told will receive carer cv ticket 1 week before hand, but keep getting this survey request. Survey should be sent after the tickets have all gone out.
Every collector remembers their first card show. The noise. The buzz. Tables stacked with grails. Collectors digging through boxes like they’re on a mission. Collectors digging through boxes, deals happening...
